NANTWICH FAMILY FUN DAY

Nantwich's Sixth Family Fun Day

Up to 15,000 visited another hugely successful Family Fun Day
on Saturday, 10th July 2010.

Local MP Edward Timpson opened the event, which was followed by the Crowning of this year's Community Princess by Nantwich Town Mayor,
Councillor Joyce Stockton.

With glorious weather the crowds were entertained throughout the day with a variety of acts and attractions.

The Battle of the Bands was a huge success with bands and
soloists of all ages performing.

The motorcycle display created much exitement among the crowds,
with their "crazy" stunts and the main arena was transformed into "Crufts"
during the dog show.

Event Organiser, Simone Cafferty, commented, "This year's event was bigger than ever, with entertainment and fun for everyone throughout the day.
The positive feedback from members of the community and the event participants was terrific, making the hard work organising the event well worth it"

Other attractions include:

Birds of Prey demonstrations
Puppet shows
 Cheer Leaders
 Singing and Dancing
Funfair rides
